950 drive shaft pulley bearing
so i bought this 09 950 1 year back with 2800 miles on her, its now on 6500, so on saturday i sets of to the coast for fish and chips gets about 15 miles down the motorway and started gettin a grinding noise from the front drive pulley area over a matter of half a mile it got realy bad and i was lucky to get into the services, and i knew it was terminal so got the bike recovered back home,on inspection everything looks ok belt pulleys alignment etc but when i spun the back wheel by hand i can see that the front pulley is moving about suggesting that the bearing has collapsed,so has anyone else experienced this, what could have caused it and what will the repair entail/cost,any advice appreciated
