New rings, no compression
I just replaced the rings in my 2005 1100. Now it barely turns over and I have about 30 psi in both cylinders. (I think the slow turning is causing the low compression). I followed the manual to the letter on the tear down and putting back together. I will get a leak tester tomorrow and a timing light to check on those possibilities. However I do get some popping sounds if it turns fast enough, but no start. Any ideas are welcome. BTW had 40 PSI in front cylinder (frozen rings- bike sat for several years) hence the new rings.
